ST AGNES CBSE SCHOOL BENDUR MANGALURU Celebrates Hindi Diwas Hindi Diwas or Hindi Day is celebrated on 14 September to highlight the rich linguistic diversity and culture of India. This day holds special significance as it marks the adaptation of Hindi as one of the official languages by the Constituent Assembly in the year 1949.

To commemorate this day St Agnes School CBSE organised a short cultural programme depicting the significance of the day. The programme began with invoking God’s blessings. The students depicted the importance of the day followed by dance. The winners of various events held on the occasion of Hindi Diwas along with the Spell Bee champs were honoured.

Dr. Uday Kumar , Professor in Hindi , St Agnes College was the Chief guest for the event. He thanked the principal and staff for inviting him to be part of the programme. He encouraged the students to show regard to the language and stressed on the importance of learning and understanding grammar. He also emphasized on speaking Hindi language frequently and congratulated the students for presenting a meaningful programme.

Sr Lenita Lobo, Vice Principal , teaching faculty and students were present for the programme.

Fathimath Alisha and Snehal S.G compered the programme,Jewel Pinto welcomed the gathering and Nidha Fathima and Yashasvi M proposed the Vote of thanks. The programme concluded with the school anthem.
