The fact is that a good school infrastructure with renewed spaces makes it possible for children to study and in addition tends to improve the attendance and interest of students in learning.
We believe that the clean, green and pollution free environment provides a pristine backdrop for an effective learning experience. Emerald green leaves and beautiful flowers create a homogenous feeling amongst everyone within the campus. The school takes immense trouble to promote conservation of Environment on its campus through greening of campus, rain water harvesting, segregation of waste at source, proper disposal of waste, using of water and electricity sparingly and creating awareness amongst children on environmental conservation and cleanliness. Every classroom at our school is spacious, bright, ventilated, and furnished. Furniture that is ergonomically designed confirming to the standards specified for the kids to develop the right posture and comfortably sit on for many days of their schooling. Each classroom is equipped with a smart board and a blackboard. It provides very lively and enriching session between the students and the teacher. In addition to this all our classrooms have special display boards to exhibit all the art and creative work done by the students.Each class strength is maximum of 40 students to ensure that every child gets individual attention from our teachers which helps in boosting their academic performance.
SCIENCE LAB:
It is essential for an educational system to supplement the lessons learnt in the classroom with the practical experience. Students get first hand learning experience by performing various experiments on their own. Well-designed laboratory not only makes science experiments fun but also help students in achieving good academic results. Well-equipped science laboratory helps students to understand theoretical concepts of science taught in the classroom.
COMPUTER LAB:
In the present scenario when the elders move with the whole world in their pockets it becomes essential for the children to be equipped with the latest technology even at school. The computer education starts from Grade I onwards. This keeps them in tune with the latest computer and helps to prepare projects related to lessons. Our school has two computer labs with latest models of computer and software.
MATHEMATICAL LAB:
‘Learning by doing’ forms the basis for all the activities in the lab. The Math’s Lab enhances the concept stabilization using laboratory activities. It is a place where our students find a collection of games, puzzles and other teaching and learning material.
The technology enabled programme ensures effective and enriching learning experience. The regularly updated inputs and a wide range of video clippings are accessed from the knowledge center. Difficult and abstract concepts too become clear to the students when viewed on the screens provided in the other purpose like Guest lectures and General Assembly / school programmes. In essence each class room is an audio visual room.

School library offers its students the opportunity to engage themselves with quality resources within a well structured environment, colorful ambience providing quality learning and open access to books. It plays a great role in life of students by serving as a storehouse of knowledge.
Our school Library has sufficient number of age appropriate books on all subjects in its stock. The books include e-Books, Fiction, Non-fiction, Reference Books, Encyclopedias, Periodicals, Magazines, Journals and Newspapers. The staff and students are encouraged to read e-Magazines, e-Journals, e-Books. The Library issues books regularly to every child studying in the school.
The school building consists of two blocks and both the blocks have extensive assembly halls used for school assemblies, recreational activities and celebrations. Round the year the students and teachers get umpteen opportunities to show-case their stage talents on different occasions. Both the auditoriums are technically equipped for light and sound shows.

We have a large playground earmarked for various sports activities. The school has adequate ground for outdoor facilities. A lot of scope for sports and games have been provided.
The School is trying its level best to ensure that all physical activities are covered in school curriculum. Currently the school boasts a sports room for indoor games which includes physical as well as mind games.
The entire campus of the school is under CCTV camera surveillance. CCTV surveillance system in the school ensures a safe, secure and healthy learning environment for children. CCTV cameras are very helpful in preventing or identifying unauthorized intruders keeping track of remote entrance and exit ensuring discipline and punctuality.
Uninterrupted power supply is not only required for the units of industrial productions but also for the increased productivity of children studying in school. That is why we do not leave everything to the vagaries if intermittent power supplies. We have installed necessary equipment’s so that the sublime act of imparting knowledge and skills to the young minds does not come to a standstill even for a moment. In the event of a sudden power failure we have ensured that the functioning of equipment’s in the labs, computers, lights and fans for the children do not stop. We have 100% power back up equipment’s at work in our school.
In school free space is furnished for co-curricular activities. Rooms such as prayer room, music room, activity room etc. helps the students to utilize their time in practicing or preparing for the competitions and celebrations. We have two well-equipped infirmary or a relaxing room for the students not just when they are ill but also when they need to calm.

Well trained and effective school counselor helps to prepare students for academic career and future lives. School counselor also provide support to the teachers by serving an important part of the complete team that addresses the educational goals and needs. The School has appointed a person on full time basis for performing the duties of Counselor and Wellness Teacher
The school has well equipped play areas for Basket Ball, Throw Ball, Volley ball, Kho-Kho, Shuttle Badminton, and Athletics as well as for indoor games like Chess, Table Tennis etc. Students are encouraged to participate in sports. The coaches give proper attention to the players. The School Basket Ball, Throw Ball, Volley Ball, Table Tennis teams and Athletics have brought laurels at the AICS meet and in the open tournaments organized by the various Associations.
Projects and Assignments are given to students not just as part of academics but even as part of activities to improve their understanding abilities and innovative skills. Work experience and SUPW aims at imparting skills through participation and performance in drawing, painting, craft, needle work, Best out of waste, walls hanging etc. Besides this the cultivation of essential soft skills is equally emphasized in our school curriculum.
Bulbuls and Guides activities help to foster in our students important values like honesty, friendship, discipline, kindness etc. Regular classes for Bulbuls (Grade III and IV) and Guides (Grade V to X) are held every week on Saturdays. The basics of guides and Bulbuls are imparted to students from time to time. The Guides are also trained for the “Rajyapuraskar Award”.
The Scout and Guides Movement is a non-political, non-sectarian, uniformed and secular movement. The purpose of the movement is to devote its volunteers to character building of Youth in India and promoting in them the feeling of selfless service to their country and humanity. It was founded by Lord Baden Powell in England in 1907 and started in India in 1909.

Cub/Bulbul - 6-10 years
Scout/Guides - 11-17 years
Rover/Rangers - 18-25 years
Once a Scout or Guides is always a Scout or Guides. The mission of this movement to fire up the youth of India with the spirit of Guides and get them involved in activities that will build physical strength, mature their personalities and turn them into responsible adults.

Recognition for meritorious service and acquisition of skills is given through Advancement Badges and Rajya Puraskar Awards to the members of the movement.

Bharat Scouts & Guides in St Agnes CBSE School
The Bulbuls and Guides of our school affiliated to Bharat Scouts and Guides programme We are having 120 seats and it is associated with D.K.Bharat Scout and Guides.
Members of the movement are involved in Community Development activities such as Ambulance Badges, Book Binder, Community Singing, Health, Laundries, Debate, Child Nurse, Games Leader, Pioneering, Ecologist, Cook, Nutrition Educator, etc. they can badges for leaning skills. And also they have Basic Training Camp, Prathamsopan, Dwithiyasopan, Thritiyasopana and Rajya Puraskar Award with activities such as cooking, first-aid, map reading, hiking and signal, group formation, campfire and cultural activities.

Playing a musical instrument is a lifelong skill that we yearn to inculcate in our students. The students of our school learn Guitar and Key Board along with their regular curriculum including the composition of music with increased coordination that enables them to strengthen their memory through weekly practices. The skill of memorization can serve students well in education and beyond. The students have umpteen opportunities to perform not only during school and class programs but also showcase their talents through various inter school competitions.
Playing with colors and drawing interesting pictures has always been the favorite activity among children. We help our students give meaning to their hidden artistic talent through art classes in painting, mixed media craft and stitching. Our students learn how to tackle challenges while creating art and devise strategies to bring out beautiful outcomes. They also display their artwork on the school bulletin as per the occasion and organize creatively the décor and artwork for class programs.
Karate benefits kids at every aspect of their lives – physical, mental, spiritual and emotional. Through Karate students develop balance, coordination, focus, respect and discipline. Our students learn one of the best forms of self-defense through this Martial Art from experienced and master Karate teachers.
We believe that students who dance and practice a form of dance become more self-motivated and focused. They are more expressive in their communication of emotions, thoughts and feelings. Our students have an option to choose contemporary, classical dance or folk dance and exhibit their talents during school programs. Students also showcase their skills in various inter school contests for classical and folk dance competitions.
Being a member in the school band team teaches the students to perfect their musical instrument along with strong discipline while maintaining team coordination and time management. Band students have an important role to play in the opening and closing ceremonies to all major events conducted by the school for e.g. Annual Day and Sports Day. Our school band consists of a variety of instruments including Trumpets and Euphonium.
Nature is one of the biggest sources of joy for a child. Students who participate in gardening class activities gain hands-on learning opportunities while increasing environmental awareness. We would like our students to build experiences that will help them to learn to make the connection between growing food and nurturing plants. Through these classes students also develop body management skills and object control skills while they move from one place to the other carrying tools, soil and water. This class is definitely a lifelong skill.
Public Speaking is one of the best methods to boost self-confidence and we ensure that our students become more vocal and confident in their speech. Students will be coached by highly trained teachers through enthusiastic participation in acting classes and creative activities including speech, creative movement, improvisation and public speaking. Students of this class may be selected to be the Master of Ceremonies for class programs as well as the School Annual Day including the lead roles for skits and tableaus.
